Interactive science and engineering modules with some games. Mostly recall, but might be an interesting way to get students to interact with the IWB

Applets are small, self-contained, interactive programs that can be run on your computer using code called Java (a free download from Sun Microsystems). All of the applets listed below are available for download from the web, but require Java to run. An Applet Search Engine can be used to find other available applets not found on this page.

New type of search engine. Ask your friends/students/peers a question and find out what their online response might be. Not sure of the usability for the classroom, but let me know if you think I'm way off base.

Search engine for kids. Starts with categories or open search with a simple user-interface. Quintura also has a smartphone app version

cK-12 FlexBooks are customizable, standards-aligned, free digital textbooks for K - 12. Subject areas include: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Easy to use but not very adaptable within the chapters. You decide the chapters that you want in your book, but each chapter is basically a pre-made PDF.

How can we change the tide of American students not choosing/being prepared for engineering/leadership

It's what we are moving our students to by teaching to the test and in this article it's being used against India.
