About the Course: We have re-opened our popular introductory course indefinitely; all units will be open once the course is launched. You will be able to complete this course at any time of the year and receive a certificate. "We activists need to become better "reflectivists", taking the time to understand the system before (and while) engaging with it. We need to better understand the stop-start rhythm of change exhibited by complex systems and adapt our efforts accordingly. And we need to become less arrogant, more willing to learn from accidents, from failures, and from other people. Finally, we have to make friends with ambiguity and uncertainty, while maintaining the energy and determination so essential to changing the world."

At AS IF Center, we are rebuilding these cross-disciplinary connections while keeping a balance between the two cultures. As artists, it's important that we do more than just serve science, and that we can follow our own creative paths.  And as scientists, it's important we maintain accuracy and critical thinking when conducting, and communicating about, science.

Climate Interactive is a not-for-profit organization based in Washington DC. Our team helps people see what works to address climate change and related issues like energy, health, food security, and disaster risk reduction. Our easy-to-use, tangible, scientifically-grounded tools as well as our programs for engagement help people see for themselves what options exist today to shape the future they want to see.

Future Now pushes progress toward America's Goals, with a report card on each state and innovative cost-effective strategies to impact legislators, the media, partner organizations and the public.

Can we create an economic system-beginning at the local level-that builds the wealth and prosperity of everyone?

Transit access is measured through General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data collected and created by CNT. In addition to the publicly available GTFS data provided by transit agencies, CNT developed GTFS structured datasets utilizing online transit maps and schedules. In many cases, CNT has directly contacted transit agencies to obtain more specific information on stop locations and schedules. All GTFS data is merged into a proprietary dataset known as AllTransit. A companion online tool facilitates the collection, normalization, and aggregation of GTFS data to analyze fixed-route transit service.
