For students, faculty, and instructional designers Behind the Blackboard is the perfect supplement to your primary campus helpdesk!

Digital Content or e-Packs consist of publisher-created digital content that is ready to use in your Webcourses@UCF account. An e-Pack may include learning materials, multimedia elements, and assessments. The quality and the features of e-Packs varies tremendously. Please e-mail your instructional designer if you find an e-Pack you would like to view. We can upload the e-Pack to a Webcourses@UCF practice account for your review. There is no cost for a faculty member to view an e-Pack. If you decide to use one, your students may be charged an access fee. The fee charged to students varies and is generally part of a bundled textbook product. Search the ePacks area for possible ePacks in your discipline.

Blackboard support for Faculty, Instructors and Designers

Blackboard, eCollege, WebCT Quick Start Guides Quick Start Guides are 1-4 pages in length and contain the essential information for getting started with Respondus, Respondus LockDown Browser, StudyMate Class Server, and StudyMate Author. Additional information for Respondus and StudyMate Author can be found in the online help (press the F1 key in Respondus or StudyMate Author) or in the complete user guides.

Respondus Version 3.5 Respondus is a powerful tool for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to Blackboard, WebCT, eCollege, ANGEL and other eLearning systems. Exams can be created offline using a familiar Windows environment, or moved from one eLearning system to another. Whether you are a veteran of online testing or relatively new to it, Respondus will save you hours on each project.

"Flat World Knowledge, a free, open source textbook publisher, has announced plans to add support for direct integration of its books into campus learning management systems (LMS) like Blackboard and ANGEL. With Flat World's LMS-supported textbooks, professors and publishers will be able to include supplementary material content in its entirety available directly on the platform and split up chapters into various folders according to their syllabus. " Their contents are expanding, but the majority of their contents focus on business at this time.

LecShare, Inc. announces the release of LecShare Pro, version 1.50. The major update in this version is compatibility with Office 2008 for Macintosh. Additionally we have added an export option for IMS Content Packages. This format is useful for Learning/Content Management Systems like Moodle, Blackboard, and others. It allows you to export your presentation in a format that is compatible across multiple online systems.
