Study being conducted to identify specific motor signatures of different forms of dystonia. Study will examine abnormal co-activation in distal and proximal muscles to evaluate the characteristics of the loss of selectivity of the motor command in mobile vs. fixed dystonia. We will also study possible cognitive and limbic components of the disease, examining the influence of cognitive and emotional loads on movement production.
Purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness and safety of rabeprazole sodium, an inhibitor of gastric acid
secretion of the protein pump inhibitor (PPI) class, compared with placebo in the treatment of gastrointestinal esophageal reflux disease (GERD) in infants 1 to 11 months of age.
Completed study assessed the pharmacokinetics and safety of dexlansoprazole, once daily (QD), in pediatric subjects with symptomatic Gastroesophageal Reflux
Disease.
Study to determine responses of lansoprazole and ecabet sodium combination therapy and compare with lansoprazole and placebo therapy in patients who need additional therapy after standard proton pump inhibitor treatment for 4week or more in recurrent gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Objective of this study is to learn more about the disease chronic pancreatitis and thus contribute to better treatments. The investigators will gain this by studying the effects of vitamin D in the body immune system and bones. The investigators will also study the uptake of vitamin D through the intestine compared with the amount of vitamin D obtained through exposure to UVB rays.
Observational cohort study designed to identify the mechanisms of disease in patients with preterm labor/contractions and preterm premature rupture of membranes and to describe the relationship between clinical, biochemical, histological, biophysical parameters and the development of infant neurological disorders.

Preterm infants are born with immature lungs and often require help with breathing shortly after birth. This currently involves administering 100% oxygen. Unfortunately, delivery of high oxygen concentrations leads to the production of free radicals that can injure many organ systems. Term and near-term newborns deprived of oxygen during or prior to birth respond as well or better to resuscitation with room air (21% oxygen) compared to 100% oxygen. However, a static concentration of 21% oxygen may be inappropriate for preterm infants with lung disease. Our study will investigate how adjusting the amount of oxygen given to sick preterm newborns will affect the ability to maintain a safe oxygen level in their blood
In large, multicenter clinical studies, a therapy has been shown to significantly lower the risk of lung and brain damage in some very low birthweight premature infants. Results from two randomized clinical trials demonstrate that when given within the first few weeks of life, inhaled nitric oxide helps prevent chronic lung disease in some low birthweight premature infants. In addition, when used within 48 hours after birth, treatment appears to protect some premature newborns from brain injury.
The Pediatric Heart Network (PHN) is a group of hospitals in the United States and Canada that conduct research studies in children with congenital or acquired heart disease . Congenital heart defects occur in approximately 40,000 infants in the US each year and are a major cause of infant death. Acquired heart disease can cause death and long-term disability.
