This entire blog addresses the issue of creativity in schools, and in addition, the three most recent posts are about using iPads and mobile phones. These three examples include: VoiceThread for iPad, Embedding Flash with an iPad, and Making videos on a mobile phone.
A blog that reviews apps and more importantly gives ideas for actual integration and implementation. On the right side bar, notice that you can search for blog posts based on Bloom's Taxonomy, device type, and subject. We can particularly use the Create, Apply, and Analyze sections of Bloom's for the "creation" and "exploration" pieces of our presentation.

This is a teacher blog about the pro's and con's of iPads and other mobile devices for the classroom. I think this is a great article because it is from an educator in the trenches experience with the iPad. This is valuable to our SIG because it focuses on apps as a solution to any limitation of the iPad.

ISTE blog by Ed Madison on the BYOD debate. Addresses the digital divide questions of equity, and some solutions, including school-offered leasing programs and recycle/refurbish programs. Also addresses the (inappropriate) content issue, taking the view that digital citizenship is one of the things schools should be teaching. States that teacher acceptance can be one of the biggest barriers.

Social network for flipped class teachers. This site is a great way to keep up on current trends and thinking around the flipped classroom idea. It includes links to many online videos with instructions as well as the latest news and blog postings.
"If you are planning on buying multiple iPads for your school you need to do a bit of planning around the management, administration and pedagogical integration of the iPad in your classroom. There are also important issues around licencing of apps." This blog also includes links other valuable sites providing information on iPads in the classroom, iPads today, iPads in education, app reviews, apps outlined by curriculum. This is a wonderful resource for any school or educator thinking about getting "on board" and integrating iPads into the curriculum. Follow along as a public elementary school in Chicago integrates the iPad into its first through fifth grade classrooms. This blog has a master list of apps, App Reviews from teachers and students, and other intergrating tech in the classroom.
This article provides more information regarding iPads and Bloom's Taxonomy, but also includes the revised taxonomy including executing and implementing. There are multiple pages in this article which each list and describe apps that meet the criteria for one of Bloom's taxonomy categories.

Donorschoose.org: This would be a great resource for teachers with limited funding to be able to get iPads and other mobile devices for their classroom. This is an online charity connecting donors with classrooms in need. Looking for funding this may be an option? Also, positive feedback from teachers re: iPad implementation.
