Project ROME allows users to create multimedia documents and presentations. ROME can also be used to create quizzes and to design websites. Users can build documents that include images, videos, and animations. Animations can be imported from an existing file or created from scratch within ROME.  Resizing of elements within any project in ROME is a simple matter of drag and drop resizing. Arranging elements is also a drag and drop process. Adding elements to a project in ROME is done by selecting from a large series of drop-down menus. Some parts of using ROME are quite intuitive, but as you might expect with a program that has many features, there are parts of ROME that will require you to follow a tutorial the first time you try it. Recent efforts by organizations like Coursera, edX, Udacity and Khan Academy have produced thousands of educational videos logging hundreds of millions of views in their attempt to make learning freely available to the masses. While the presentation style of the videos varies depending on the author, they all share a common drawback: videos are time-consuming to produce and cannot be easily modified after release. With that in mind, we present VidWiki, an online platform to leverage the massive numbers of online students viewing videos to iteratively improve video presentation quality and content, similar to other crowdsourced information projects like Wikipedia. Through the platform, users annotate videos by overlaying content on top of the video, lifting the burden on the instructor to update and refine content.

Using Bboogle, course instructors provide links within their CMS course sites to content they create in the @u environment. Google Docs - Share documents including spreadsheets, presentation slides, Google forms, and other file types, with students. Google Calendars - Share information including assignment due dates, test dates, class syllabus, and project deadlines on a class calendar that automatically appears in the individual electronic calendars of every student in a class. Google Sites - Share a course site that brings together all classroom materials including docs, calendars, photos, videos, attachments, and message blogs that can be presented to students either for viewing or co-authoring.
