Use SearchTeam as a collaborative tool to enable small teams to collaborate on finding the best information on the web. Excellent for working on collaborative research projects. It's easy to use - sign in, enter a topic of research into your "search space" and voila - share and collaborate your findings with your peers. A great tool!

Interesting! What if we could do something similar - a website where collaborators can gather from all over the world to work on e-learning strategies and applications?

WeVideo is a collaborative online video creation tool. In the video editor you can upload your own media clips or use stock media clips to produce your video. The video editor provides tools for trimming the length of display and or sound of each element you add to your video project. What makes WeVideo collaborative is that you can invite other people to create and edit with you. 

For the game team. Today we're announcing premium features for gaming with Flash Player 11.2. These will allow game developers to publish advanced games with console quality experiences to Flash Player. We're also excited to announce that we are collaborating with Unity Technologies to enable Unity customers to publish web-based 3D games, like Madfinger's Shadowgun, to Flash Player using the premium features from directly within Unity's tools.

Some web based project management while on the go. Most are good on their own but there's none that can cater totally to our needs such as good overview of projects at one glance to see overlaps or free cost of files management. CeLebs - do recommend me if you happen across any that at least has the above features :)

To add on to your point, I think for the Gen-Yers, social media tools also facilitate on-going collaboration by engaging the emotive power of relational bonds to help bring everyone onto the same page. Darling-Hammond (1994) describes the new paradigm of teacher learning as a place in which opportunities are provided for "learning by teaching, learning by doing and learning by collaborating."
