First I did not want to read this, because I feel unable to CREATE technology enhanced materials, but when I glanced at threarticle, it became easy to understand and do, most valuable and very possibly manageable with my limited understanding of technology. Wonderful!

It bothers me that they still talk about not having someone to talk with...  I really would like to see more of these online courses as cohort modeled courses and have synchronous voiced/video conversations as part of the curriculum.  Or if not a cohort, with other online voiced alternatives for practice.  

A great blog to follow if you would like to switch from textbook to project based / CBI style curriculum.

An interesting (if somewhat dated) case study that explores how multiple social media platforms can be integrated into a language curriculum. I found some of the diagrams, notably "Bloom's Digital Taxonomy," to be particularly useful.

This website was created by Kara Parker and Megan Smith, world language consultants, curriculum writers and bloggers. I was impressed by this blog's long list of topics and its topic choices, such as authentic resources, listening and reading resources, interpretive reading/listening activities, interpersonal speaking activities, distance learning, and technology. The posts that I read I found meaningful and well-written and their suggestions creative, practical and innovative.

At the college where I teach, professors have the unique opportunity every May to develop a course outside of their typical curriculum. Teachers get to explore their interests in new courses as diverse as "The Chemistry of Cooking" and "Writing a Film Short."

I originally signed on to this blog (and downloaded the e-book) because I was so interested in teaching with technology. But Matt is a foreign-language teacher, and I'm really intrigued by the way he organizes his curriculum around Performance-Based Learning and questioning.
