Another way to use tagging. if it can be found in a search engine, you will see it displayed on a visual wall, as in this example from the Webheads in Action: http://spezify.com/#/webheads Makes using tags of all kinds even more important. Be sure your students select really unique tags. (In this example, there is a YouTube video and other materials related to Spider-Man, whose fans are also called "Webheads.")

This is a totally cool way to look at Flashcards, and includes not only polls taken by Webheads, but some lesson plans for use with your students. (Note also the way the blog entry is organized.) Study and blog by Karenne Sylvester, Webhead.

This is a space where Webheads' students have links/feeds to their students' blogging adventures. This is a good place to find a class to collaborate with, or just see some examples of how teachers are using blogs with their ESL/EFL students. --Elizabeth

This is a tool recommended by a Webhead for creating an eportfolio. Sign up is free and there is a special section for educators. Like many new online tools, this may eventually become not-free bu in the meantime it looks like a good place to collect and display student work. Allows for all types of media and you can organize in a variety of ways. Media can be uploaded from your computer or from various social media you use. A little slow and clunky, but usable.

Learning2gether is a project of Vance Stevens and the Webheads. Vance regularly recruits experts and tech-using teachers to offer live webinars weekly. Links to the full schedule and archive of over 300 hours of recordings from past events may be found a this Wordpress blog.

While Cuisenaire rods are used often for maths, they are also used by teachers of the Silent Way (Gategno). Vance Stevens mentioned on the Webheads list that the rods go for around $70 US, but are available in virtual format at this site. Earl Stevick wrote a classic article on using the rods for the Silent Way, describing how his students created a city of "Islamabad," talking all the while about the city and the things in it. (In Silent Way, students are silent until they are ready to speak, thus replicating some of the natural processes of language acquisition. Enjoy!

"Download Ustream's broadcasting application for your mobile phone, go live from anywhere." UStream looks like a handy app for the perfectly mobile. The video tagged here does evntually have audio. It's fun to see the Webheads drift by and to watch Vance on tagging.

This is a great digital images project using photos of graffiti on Flickr, and a spreadsheet of questions on Google Forms. Students sign in to select images that will support the ideas they write about. Thanks to Webhead Sasa! Also included are links to posts that Sasa's students made and responses from Rita Z's student sin Argentina. Nice example of collaborative Web 2.0. (Caution, some graffiti have adult language and themes!)
