The news of the bill passed in the US senate that stopped the American businesses from setting up call centers in other countries and outsourcing, had created much uproar in South Asia as the region is currently leading the global outsourcing and BPO industries.
Managers of contact centers often try to maintain a very professional environment by making sure that the agents concentrate on their work and talk less. There are two major reasons why this is done. The major reason is that the agents are expected to be loyal to their task and bring good results and the second reason is that contact centers cannot afford to much noise or this hinders and disturbs the phone calls.
