"How I Beat Post-Partum Depression with Physical Fitness!" | BlogHer - 0 views

  •
Meet Krystal Monisera, 29, a Jupiter, Florida mom who navigated her way out of a severe post-partum abyss through physical fitness. Right after Krystal's second child was born, the young mother of two recalls that a "scary" depression began to overtake her. Knowing that depression ran in her family and unsure of her next steps, Krystal was fortunate to discover weight training and physical fitness, which she says "jolted me out of the fog of post-partum depression." Now she wants to spread the message to other new moms experiencing the baby blues and significant post-partum depression. "I was fortunate because some of my girlfriends who were also new moms suggested we all get into physical fitness and begin working out together as a group." Krystal claims that if it hadn't been for her friends pushing her to join them in the gym, she doesn't know what would have become of her emotional state at that time. The women began a CrossFit regimen and Krystal noticed that her depression began to lift, sans any medical intervention.

  •
I will first start by stating I am not an SEO expert. Over the years, I have studied and tested various methods, guidelines and techniques for generating search engine traffic. Back in 1997, I took on paid clients and SEO became a full time career for a few years. AltaVista was the dominant leader in search in those days. Learning how to control and manipulate the engines to get front page search results became my main objective and an obsession. Today, things are a lot different, as there is basically one dominant leader in search, and the playing field is more level than it's ever been.

I fully agree. Almost all PR people forgot that "P" stands for "Public" and "R" stands for "Relations"

Brian Solis: "Abbreviating "PR" truncates the value of our role in one of the greatest transformations the communications industry has ever witnessed." I fully agree. Almost all PR people forgot that "P" stands for "Public" and "R" stands for "Relations". Dear Public Relations people and communicators: Stand up and fight for "Relations"! Work on relations, be related to the people who are interested in your business - or even those who even are not. Don't speak or talk to: communicate. Start with looking in the mirror :-) But why should Public Relations business innovate more intense and often than other businesses? When it works it works ...
