The Willamette Valley Music Festival is an exciting annual event held on the UO campus during the ASUO Spring Street Faire. The festival is planned by student coordinators for the students of UO and the community at large. WVMF features three stages, live music and cultural workshops. We focus on sustainability to produce a zero waste event. The WVMF is dedicated to enriching the cultural experience of Oregonians by showcasing new artists and ideas. Wampire After forming Wampire, Rocky Tinder and Eric Phipps steadily began to make a name for themselves in the same Portland, OR, scene that has produced labelmates STRFKR as well as Unknown Mortal Orchestra. It makes sense, then, that Wampire came to Polyvinyl's attention when the duo opened for STRFKR at a hometown Portland show and that UMO's bassist Jacob Portrait produced Wampire's debut full-length, Curiosity.

The University of Oregon Symphony Orchestra is the premiere orchestra at UO and one of the finest university orchestras on the west coast. It serves as a laboratory for music majors and especially talented non-majors who have demonstrated the necessary expertise to study ensemble performance technique and repertoire spanning a broad time frame and encompassing a wide variety of musical styles.

The University of Oregon School of Music and Dance is the premier higher education institution of music and dance in the Pacific Northwest, one of eight distinct schools and colleges that compose Oregon's flagship university. A comprehensive public institution, the UO School of Music and Dance offers courses in choreography-performance, dance education, dance history, dance science, liberal arts studies in dance, music education, music performance, pedagogy, composition, conducting, jazz studies, music theory, musicology, ethnomusicology, music history-literature, music technology, and liberal arts studies in music.

CINEMA PACIFIC is a collaborative effort between the University of Oregon and the Eugene community. Administered by graduate students in the UO Arts and Administration Program, who work alongside undergraduate interns, CINEMA PACIFIC utilizes venues across campus and Eugene for a five-day festival of screenings, live multimedia performances, and art exhibitions.

My own little place of work here on campus; this non profit organization encompasses the cultural and natural history of the Native Oregonians, New exhibits opened recently!

On The Rocks was founded in 1999 by Leo DaSilva and Peter Hollens when they attended the University of Oregon. The group established itself through five albums with an EP, a viral video of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance, and appearances on NBC's show "The Sing Off". And now they are a new group of twelve living up to their past of fame and notoriety. You may ask us, "Why don't you sing Lady Gaga?" or "Where are the guys from the 'Sing Off'?" Sadly those days are gone. Those who graduated left us a great legacy and we look up to their talent every time we sing. But talent never graduates. Talent built this group from a time before the boom of TV shows and viral videos, because having the time of our lives has always been the goal and will continue to be forever. So know this: Every time we perform, we step on stage with the vigor of every man who has ever sang in our name. On. The. Rocks.

I really enjoy these guys because of the community that they create while singing and the way they can harmonize themselves all together.

The men in OTR are so talented and show perseverance with all of their endeavors. Especially knowing one of the members and how he balances about 7 different social scenes with the U of O, I am truly amazed with what they can do. They don't just use their voices but also their personalities which to me is one of the best parts when it comes to entertaining.

The JSMA is one of the many local museums here on campus displaying a range of art for our local community; "The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art enhances the University of Oregon's academic mission and furthers the appreciation and enjoyment of the visual arts for the general public".

"The museum welcomes students of all ages, ability levels and backgrounds to explore exhibits and participate in hands-on learning. Pre-registration is required. Programs are taught by knowledgeable museum guides and are designed to meet National and Oregon State learning standards" The museum's mission to education is a huge aspect of the organization, on daily basis education programs take place to educate the surrounding community.

The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, in conjunction with Cinema Pacific, presents "Hunting Requires Optimism" and "Medusa Smack," two video installations by Portland-based artist Vanessa Renwick. On view from April 25 to June 29, 2014, and made possible by a JSMA Academic Support Grant, Renwick's installations address serious issues related to our environment in often humorous ways.

Featuring the Repertoire Singers, Concert Choir, University Singers, and Chamber Choir.
