I can't think of a better way to make the pathos in this commercial more effective. I also liked how the commercial had dimmed tones during the first part then when it opens onto the graffiti it becomes brighter. That aspect adds to the effectiveness because the audience is drawn more to the art and caring aspect rather than the fact that he is defacing public property.
This add focuses on the contingent issue of gender equality in the work place. By showing the different adjectives given to each gender in the workplace the ad appeals to pathos. It was made by Pantene, which has situated ethos, giving it a little credibility.
This video takes a look at what is really part of popular culture. It uses rhetoric because it is definitely planned, the topics are debatable, and is geared toward an audience.
These people reminded me that American Horror Story is premiering with their 4th season, Freak Show, in about one month!!! It is very interesting to see how every person is extremely unique.
