But more deeply it has to do with the communication in sports. It shows examples of how great teams have worked together through communicating with each other.

This article focuses on how ICT's (information and communication technologies) have transformed reading, writing, and education. Written communication has become less formal and the syntax and layout has changed. However, technology has enabled students to engage in "creative and collaborative communication." It has also enabled the practice of writing through everyday activities such as texting. The Internet, especially, and cell phones can be used to facilitate learning when incorporated creatively into the classroom.

The article discusses the different things that literacy is, for example it is strategic, motivated, fluent, etc. This article fcuses mainly on the transition from high school literacy to college literacy.

Community colleges pride themselves in providing access to higher level learning. This is especially true when it come to minorities because it gives them the chance at an education. Clearly, the motives of these schools are very different than those of elite athletic universities.

They need to look at reading and writing as communication practices from an early age. It is also talks about how speech production can be improved through writing instructions. Social interaction is a large part of developing literacy.

The main focus of this article is how important communication is when it comes to literacy and physical education. It explains that students should learn physical literacy and fully understand it. Another topic touched on is how speaking and presentation skills are important when it comes to literacy and physical activity. Without proper communication and presentation skills, the learning process can often be effected negatively.

They see it as a way to almost relate with their students and to keep them informed. It also talks about how big of an influence social networks and the Internet are in students lives and how beneficial it is to integrate it into learning in the classroom. The article addresses the ways colleges are using Facebook to connect.

This article gives guidance on how to identify a patients literacy level. It also states how to do things that can increase the overall levels of health literacy. It states that even if someone has high literacy levels that doesnt mean that they will always understand all of their health and health care information. Another idea that was brought up in this article is that one must also form a comfortable environment for patients to become more health literate.

This article was about a study that was conducted on students from Herkimer County Community College. The study was a nutritional survey that was created to examine the nutritional knowledge and exercise habits of college students. In addition to this the study also took the students MBI before they took the exam. Majoirty of the 453 that students of that took survey failed to know basic knowledge of nutrition. In addition to this many of these students 40% of the students were overweight.

International education especially at the college level has taken on a new importance. This article argues that despite the student's major, they should be exposed to multicultural education and this knowledge which will enhance a student's success in the global environment of the future.
