Biographie-Portal è il risultato di una collaborazione tra la Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, la Historische Kommission bei der Bayerischen Akademie der Wissenschaften, l'Accademia austriaca delle scienze e la Fondazione Dizionario storico della Svizzera. Il portale rende accessibili, attraverso un indice comune oltre 100.000 biografie che riguardano tutti gli ambiti sociali e quasi tutte le epoche della storia tedesca, austriaca e svizzera. In futuro si prevede l'integrazione di altre opere biografiche di riferimento nazionali e regionali.

This phase presents persons who died between the years 1000 and 1930 or whose last known date of activity falls within these years.

TL è un centro di ricerca per il trattamento automatico della lingua e per l'applicazione delle nuove tecnologie informatiche alla linguistica. Sul sito sono a disposizione gratuitamente alcuni utili strumenti di analisi linguistica: un identificatore linguistico, un correttore ortografico, un estrattore automatico di terminologia, un'analizzatore di affinità semantiche e un analizzatore di leggibilità.

Progetto di studio, catalogazione e digitalizzazione di alcune delle 530 riviste illustrate del Fondo Marengo dell'Università di Milano. La digitalizzazione è stata realizzata a scopo conservativo e ha interessato circa sessanta testate satiriche italiane, tedesche, e francesi, delle quali si sono scelte le annate in base all'importanza e alla consistenza del posseduto, così da realizzare una prima fondata comparazione fra modi, caratteri e stili del disegno satirico europeo fra Otto e Novecento. In ambito francese sono state considerate le testate più importanti, privilegiando le annate vicine a quelle italiane sopra indicate - da "L'Eclipse" (1868-1872) a "L'Album" (1901-1902), da "Le Canard Sauvage" (1903) a "Le Mot" (1914-1915), dalla "Gazette du Bon Ton" (1920-1922) a "Charette Charrie" (1922-1923)-, mentre per l'area tedesca si sono studiate le prime annate di "Simplicissimus" (1986-1904), la più importante rivista satirica della Germania.

Die Gesellschaft für Comicforschung (ComFor) verfolgt das Ziel, die wissenschaftliche Erforschung von Comics im deutschsprachigen Raum koordinieren und vernetzen zu helfen. Die ComFor ist für jedwede interdisziplinäre und internationale Art von Comicforschung offen.

Die Bonner Online-Bibliographie zur Comicforschung ist eine bibliographische Datenbank, die die internationale wissenschaftliche Literatur zu Comics, Graphic Novels, Manga und verwandten Gebieten erschließen möchte. Nicht erfasst wurden bisher (mit wenigen Ausnahmen) Artikel in Fan-Magazinen und Tageszeitungen. Die Bibliographie versteht sich als Komplement und Ergänzung zu ähnlichen Unternehmungen, die einen abweichenden (teilweise umfassenderen) Ansatz haben, wie ComicsResearch.org oder die comics research bibliography.

Lord of the Rings Project, commonly shortened LotrProject, is a creative web project dedicated to the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. It is perhaps most known for the extensive and ever updating genealogy, the historical timeline of Middle-Earth and the statistics of the population of Middle-Earth. LotrProject was published in January 2012 by Emil Johansson with the genealogy as the only feature. To much surprise it gained a lot of attention which spurred the development of the site. Since then the project has expanded to become a creative outlet for Emil and now features several interactive Tolkien related projects.

This free site features public lectures, teaching material, interviews with leading academics, information about applying to the University, and much more.

The W3C Internationalization (I18n) Activity works with W3C working groups and liaises with other organizations to make it possible to use Web technologies with different languages, scripts, and cultures.
