Diigo asks me to sign in more than once per session... It's anoying to have to stop and sign in so often.
Why is diigo limiting sign-in period? Why isn't it persistent like del.icio.us or Facebook (which remain even past the session)? If you don't think this is good for all users, then at least make it an option some users can use.
If diigo really wants to be a bookmarking system, then it should allow for persistent sign in: imagine if Firefox asked you to sign in to your bookmarks...
You guys rock. When the problem happened I started looking around at what other services/sites offered and I have to say that every time I thought: Diigo is better. Your interface and your features are just better. And I'm saying this as a die-hard Google user for other types of services. If I stick with Diigo over the benefits that Notebook integration has for me, it's really that I think your service is THAT much better!
I'd love to try v3 to see what else you've got in store for us :)
I couldn't find any other way than this post to share with you how stoked I am about your service!
I 've only been using for half an hour and already I'm addicted and can't imagine how I ever managed without it. I'm an avid del.icio.us user, but this is so much more what I need right now. You are making my life and my collaborators' life so much easier!
On some level, you've done for research on the web what blogs have done for self-expression. You've given us the pens and notepads!
As I use the tool more, I'm sure I'll have some UI suggestions - but right now, I congratulate you on a job well done.
My first feedback: it would be more user-friendly for the non-savvy if it wasn't necessary to add a in the comments field (in bookmark view) - I figured it out, but my collaborators will have a hard time remembering to use it and their comment text will wind up being hard to read.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. My sincere applause and encouragement to pursue developments.
P.S. it would be nice to be able to search the forum by text string - I'm not sure what the advantage of your current foum format is as opposed to the traditional threaded type.
> Ok. We will do it in the group. This feature is available in My bookmarks.
That's REALLY cool! Thanks.
Any ETA on that?
