new bookmarks in Diigo not saved elsewhere (to Delicious) - 32 views

  1. at https://secure.diigo.com/tools/save_to_others I re-checked the option to save to Delicious
  
  2. clicked the Save button
  
  3. a confirmation appeared
  
  4. alongside the entries for Delicious I still see 'Validate acccount' (sic) but when I last saved elsewhere, the entries were valid
  
  5. in the past hour or so I have added three bookmarks - one private, then two public - all of which appear at http://www.diigo.com/user/grahamperrin

  OK, a few hours' worth of bookmarks from Diigo have appeared in Delicious.
  
  I guess that the posts are occasional or periodic. Not immediate.
  
  Considering discussions such as
  http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/46343#11 and http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/8935 it's good that posts are not made immediately.
  
  For as long as Diigo uses publicity as a default, the user should appreciate the opportunity to correct (convert to private) in Diigo before the corresponding post to Delicious.
  
  I'll treat this topic as resolved.

  If you're unlucky (my viewpoint) or lucky, the save from Diigo to Delicious may occur within seconds.
  
  Unlucky for me, because Diigo is publishing in two places (Diigo + Delicious) information that I intended to be private. http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/48647#15 refers.
