I have been unsuccessful at importing bookmarks into diigo from a flat file.
I am working with two different files. One was generated from a google bookmark export, and has maybe 10 bookmarks, and the other from a Firefox export and has maybe 30.
I tried to import these last week and I never received any email that it succeeded. I believe the original job was inititated last Sunday. I went back and tried to import again yesterday. Nothing. Tried in two different accounts. Nothing in either.
I looked back in the forums and I see that there was a backlog of imports due to furl, but when I run a job to export to delicious or a job to import from delicious that is successful.
Sure I could go and enter these in by hand, but that kind of defeats the purpose. I think the import process here is rather underwhelming to say the least. I'd like to take advantage of all the great features that Diigo seems to offer, but I am going to have a hard time recommending it if I can't even import bookmarks from a flat file. I could even understand waiting a day or two, but not a week with a silent failure of the job.

But admins, there is something seriously broken with the import of flat html files!
