  I know that for copyright reasons, Google disables any text copying functions. Any way to highlight and annotate such text, though? If Diigo could do this it would be extremely useful. Thanks!

  Please enable e-mail notification for Highlighting and annotating formats other than HTML.
  
  More specific to PDF, and to WebNotes' PDF viewer (which involves conversion from PDF),
  pdf file highlighting?
