error: openid-login lands on blank page - 66 views

openid login error firefox safari mac osx bug resolved

    hi!

    since yesterday [or even longer?] logging in to diigo using my openid.com account diigo sends me to http://www.diigo.com/openid/verify_openid - which is a blank page.

    i'm using firefox 3.0.3 and/or safari 3.1.2 on mac os 10.5.5.

    I'm experiencing the same problem using Safari on Mac OS X Leopard.

    Here, too, unable to log in using at least two OpenID providers:

    * .myopenid.com
    * .pip.verisignlabs.com

    * Diigo 3.1.6.4, Firefox 3.0.3, Mac OS X 10.5.5

    thank you @jochen, @graham for confirming this.

    same problem occurs with firefox 3.0.3 on win XP prof. 2002, sp 3 [if that matters].

    At the time of writing: no problem with OmniWeb-5.6-v613 + Diigo + myOpenID.

    I'll review behaviour in Firefox and WebKit nightly…

    Firefox 3.0.3 + Diigo + *.myOpenID - OK.

    Firefox 3.0.3 + Diigo + *.pip.verisignlabs.com - OK.

    WebKit nightly r37990 + Diigo + *.myOpenID - OK.

    WebKit nightly r37990 + Diigo + *.pip.verisignlabs.com - OK.

    I guess that whatever was wrong has been fixed, or at least worked around.

    (Visited out of context, http://www.diigo.com/openid/verify_openid is still a blank page; I guess that this apparent blankness is not significant.)
