Diigo toolbar not working - FF2, Hardy Heron - 73 views

    Have used Diigo for a long time, but recently haven't been able to sign in via, or indeed make use of, the toolbar. The sign-in button on the toolbar just sends me to which doesn't load, thereby rendering the toolbar useless. It's probably a conflict with another extension, as it works fine in a clean profile. Am currently disabling extensions one-by-one (in last installed date order) to try and pinpoint the problem, but I list those installed below. Any ideas on where the conflict might lie? I don't suppose it could be a clash with a recent firefox update might it? - 2.0.0.17 was fine, but I recently updated to 2.0.0.18.

    Diigo v 3.1.5.7, Firefox 2.0.0.18, Ubuntu Hardy Heron.

    You have a super old Diigo toolbar version - please visit Diigo Tools section for the most up to date version

    3.1.5.7 - is the latest version compatible with FF2 on Linux as far as I can tell.

    I could always upgrade to FF3, but then I'd be missing some key extensions...

    I should have said earlier - the same problem occurs with the latest version of the toolbar. I've established it's nothing to do with the firefox update, so it's either a clash with one or more extensions, or my firefox profile is corrupt.

    Solved!

    I must have removed the 'server' options from the diigo toolbar when customising my toolbars. Server options are 1) www 2) preview 3) cn. I had an inkling it might be this, as I had managed to "grab" them one day when trying to edit my toolbars, when firefox crashed. Had been trying to work out what they were for, and had fiddled with the settings, changing from www to cn. Anyway, putting it back in the Diigo toolbar and changing it back to www seems to have solved the problem!
