yes -- Tags should be space-separated, and are case-insensitive. To use a phrase as a single tag, either put quotation marks around the phrase, or use hyphen between words. Unless you combine those two words together, they cannot be edited together.
Yes, I get it, but the situation is like this - I imported my browser bookmarks, in which some where tagged 'google bookmarks'. The Diigo toolbar imported this tag like that, with the space separator. And now I can't do anything with this tag. I cannot rename it and cannot delete it. When I try to rename or delete it states that the operation succeeded, but the next refresh the tag reappears. So how do I remove it?...
Has any progress been made on this? I'm having the same issue. Tags imported from delicious are still there, even when I've deleted them and Diigo says that they're deleted. They don't really go away. I've waited several weeks to see if they go away on their own and they don't.
Hey,... is the bug solved? I have the same problem. I'm trying to delete a tag called "Subscription". However, it just can't get deleted. I have gone through all my bookmarks. None are tagged with "Subscription".

That topic is inexplicably missing.
