However, if i click to add the bookmark again, the tags show correctly, but not the comments. If i saved it for a group, the group doesn't get the bookmark either. The bookmarks won't save no matter what i do from this computer.

Also tried uninstaling and re-installing diigo in FF, to no avail.

This is really frustrating... should i switch back to del.icio.us??? Don't make me do this!

    Vahid,

What diigo FF toolbar version do you have? to find the version #, go to Diigo >> Help >> About

Just tested and cannot reproduce what you just described. Have you had problem earlier? What's your computer specs and any new extensions?

Next steps: i have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox 3. The only add-on i put was Diigo (this should really show how much i have become dependent). Still, the bookmarks won't save!

I have also downloaded IE 7, and the Diigo toolbar works just as fine there as it did on IE6.

I really don't understand what the issue might be, but this has been slowing down my websurfing, since if i can't record what i find of interest, it just doesn't work for me.

Please advise on what i could try next.

Could you open a new profile and try diigo in it? Here are instructions on how to open a new firefox profile:

What firewall did you use? Try to temporarily disable it and see whether you can add bookmark again?
  • Vahid Masrour

Sunbelt personal firewall. I have tried disabling it and using Diigo, but it won't work (with firefox, as i said earlier it work smoothly on IE).

I also use Avira Antivirus, NOD antivirus, Threadfire antimalware, and S&D Spybot antimalware.

    Ok.
    1) Disable all these firewalls and anti-virus softwares temporaily.
    2) Sign out diigo and sign in again, then try to add a new bookmark.

If these steps still don't help you, please change your Diigo password to a temp one and send it to joel 【at】 diigo dot com, we will look into your account and see what's wrong.

While we are in debugging process, you can use diigolet (http://www.diigo.com/tools/diigolet ) or "Post to diigo" ( http://www.diigo.com/tools/post_to_diigo) instead.

Tried disabling everything... didn't work. But somethin weird did happen while testing: one bookmark made it through... don't know why. I've kept every protection off since, but i can't upload any bookmark.

I sent you the mail as requested.

Cookies: they were enabled, and i proceeeded to erase them and log out+log in... still can't make it work.
