Website of the Day: TreehouseTV Games and Activities - 2 views

  •
I found this Treehouse TV website while surfing the web and it goes along with the 6.2 standard because it goes hand in hand with the grade levels of pre k- 3rd.It will really draw the children to learn on here because their favorite characters are teaching them like Dora, Little Bear, and The Bubble Guppies. Plus it teaches technology to them by the different games and activites they offer. So i suggest you and your little definitely check it out! :)

The Newspaper Clipping Image Generator - Create your own fun newspaper 6.8 - 2 views

  •
As a part of Standard 6.8, this is an emerging technology. To download your newspaper, use the link at the bottom of the generated image. You can use the images as you wish ie. put them on your own website or blog. Please note, that direct linking to the newspaper clippings doesn't work; the images are deleted from the server after a short time span.

This is a great site for both teachers and students. This site has links to many interactive resources for anyone interested in art. This website meets the standard 6.2 because it has grade-level and content-specific technology resources, including assistive technology, to increase student participation in the total curriculum. you can become a member of MOMA, but its a little pricey. I think you get what you pay for in the end.

This website is primarily based with interactive activities for high school students. It has a lot of information and interactive ways in which the students can view it. It is a Historical based website that would be very useful for high school history teachers. This will facilitate the use of Standard 6.1 because it allows teachers to facilitate learning in their classrooms and to enhance hands-on-experiences and problem solving.

This was a very neat website showing webquests for K-12 grades. Webquests help to supplement instructional strategies in the classroom. This website shows you how to actually create a webquest and it also has ones already designed and you can use those instead of developing your own. These are very fun and very educational!

This is a very interactive website for students to learn and have fun at the same time. As a teacher, you can use this website to integrate instructional technology in the classroom by teaching a lesson and then let the students play a certain game that you instruct them how to do. I will use this website as a tool in my classroom to help influence my future students that learning can be fun.
