I read the article, Media Literacy: Collaborating to Create Media-Savvy Young People | Edutopia, and it is so great .Learning that is student centered, fun, creative, and socially interactive is ideal, and I've experienced this type of learning at the junior college I attended. It felt like a gift of such a great and personal magnitude and I got to thinking about those who never get a chance to experience that feeling.

Very true! Whether we are ready or not, we will confront the challenges of new technology 3.0. So, we better prepare for it.

I like the possibility to imagine a new model of education that uses online resources to serve more students, more cheaply than ever before. What a blessing for poorer nations!

Fascinating and somewhat disturbing at the same time. Could this have been the attraction to Marx's communist manifesto? A connectivist way of thinking? Enjoy more while owning less?? Is this a clue to the mindset of the next generation? No responsibility of ownership but full enjoyment of tangible 'things' can still be had. Hmm... what do you think?

Wow! I could really use something like this to stay organized. I work from home on the internet and it is amazing how time flies. Before I know it the day is gone and I'm crawling into bed at midnight with 10 things left undone on that "to do" list scribbled on a scrap of paper somewhere on my desk.
