I have noticed that sticky notes can not be edited once they are created, but in Diigo v2 it was possible. Maybe a bug ?

As edit sticky notes is rarely used, we remove this feature in V3 in order to make the toolbar lighter.

    Hi Joel,

I literally signed up for Diigo just for this feature. Can it be readded ? Can I install V2 instead ?

    Thanks,

I agree. I'd at least like the ability to delete sticky notes from within the page, so you could copy the contents of the note, delete the original note, then paste the contents into a new note and edit from there.

It would be great if this could be added again in some future release, perhaps as an optional feature?

    Thanks,
    Anton.

If edit is really necessary for now, copy, delete, then repost.

Thanks Maggie - that works fine to be honest.

Yes. we constantly have to juggle features vs. performance. In our opinion, unless a feature really impacts majority of users, performance consideration should have substantially higher priority.

Of course, we also constantly challenging ourselves to push the technical limit and to think outside of the box. Diigo is continuing to evolve quickly. We will do our parts to make Diigo the very best in its class - if you're a diigo fan - we need your help - pls do your part to help us spread the words! Thanks!

I was hoping to use these stickies as a development tool thus copy and paste is a little impractical for my needs.

I do of course appreciate your work on this. Some other nice features for the stickies would be an option to have them display opened on the page. Also a resizable sticky would be nice!

    Thanks!
