    That's a very useful blog for teachers who, like me, are initiating on the web 2.0 tool world. There are several tasks that can be easily adapted to everyone's class. Moreover, it not only shows the tasks itself, but also how to do them using a web tool and there are other tool suggestions at the end of each task as well. I particularly liked task #6, which suggests using students'cell phones to record their performance in a pair work activity, like a dialogue role play. I'll try to work with my intermediate students using this idea and I'll share my experience with all of you!

    Have you ever wondered what the geographic boundaries of the U.S. Courts of Appeal are? How about the U.S. District Courts? If you have, then you may want to check out the excellent map in The Box, courtesy of Wikipedia. The map shows each of the 11 U.S Circuit Courts of Appeal's territories as well as the District Court territories within them. This map would be a useful teaching tool for teachers or for student projects. Link to the Wikipedia article here.

    For the last few weeks I've been trying out a free tool called Slinkset and I have found it to be pretty useful. Slinkset is a tool that enables you to create your own 'portal' site ( A 'portal' site is one that links to other content rather than a tool for producing content) and I've been using it to create a kind of educational technology news site. I've used it to keep track of the things that I'm reading, writing and watching online as well as adding a few links to conferences.
