Here's a very concise paragraph to give a quick introduction to the world of Nancy. it doesn't say too much about me, but I'm sure more will be revealed in time.

My eyeeeeeees. :). A fine exploration of what CSS can do.
  •
I had a lot of fun with revamping the look of my recipe page. I added a background image, jazzed up fonts & colors, had some fun with my bullets and even figured out how to add blinking text! One of the sites I got from CSS Zen Garden's CSS Resource Guide (listed as Web Developer's Handbook, which I will also bookmark) was a huge help. Enjoy!

Oh my! You have some fun stuff going on there! :)

So close! Open it up in a browser, and do View>source. Then, look for the red. Can you see what is wrong?

IPL Kidspace: Learning HTML - 0 views

This site also helped me out last semester. The biggest problem I had just simply understanding the concepts behind HTML. Once I got the patterns down, it was just a matter of learning the tags, etc.

Quinnipiac University | Publishing Web Pages to MyWebSpace using FTP for Macintosh Users - 0 views

Also for my 512 class, I needed an FTP. Quinnipiac offers Fetch for free to students and this page is a guide on how to get the program for your computer. This page is for Mac users, but you can see on the left hand navigation bar that there is a link for PC users too.

HTML: An Interactive Tutorial - Dave's HTML Code Guide - 0 views

Hi every, a little late to join the crowd, but better late than never! I found this site last semester when I was working on my website for 512. While it is a little hard to take in at once, and there are alot of annoying ads, I found the basic meat of the content to be helpful when I was teaching myself HTML.

This site simplified my webpage and asked me to take out certain tags. After doing so, the page was still readable however, XHTML approved.
  •
I have published a page that is up to XHTML standard. I used my recipe for peach daquiris for this validator service. I had nine errors when I first typed it in and after following the directions I was told that my document was successfully checked as XHTML 1.0 transitional.

This is my peach daquiri recipe. The picture is a mango daquiri, which is also good. This is because Flickr did not provide a creative commons picture that I found appealing.

I love how this site not only gives the code, but shows examples right next to it, to show how it is utilized.

Walt Disney World - 0 views

Here is a very basic multi-page site dedicated to Walt Disney World. Each of the four theme parks has its own webpage, linked together through navigation at the bottom of the page. I'd forgotten how hand coding (vs Dreamweaver) can be a time consuming feat! But I survived and it's helping to re-learn basic html codes!
