This site answers your most basic and simple beginner questions such as, "What Does HTML stand for"? If you have no experience building web pages this site will be a helpful start.

This site tells how to add links to your Website using HTML coding. Links are a key to the interactivity of the Internet, so I thought it would be good to know.

I know I already "bookmarked something relevant" this module but I couldn't resist sharing this one as well. It's a VERY basic PHP tutorial with great links -- and is broken into bullet points. Bullet points make me happy! Bullets, however, do not. Happy PHPing.

I found this helpful for me, the "Absolute Beginner"! Describes a little more about what PHP is, what it does, and how we can utilize it.

As one of my classmates pointed out...sometimes it's easier to learn complicated things when they are "kindergatenized" Here I found a site which appempts to explain PHP at the very bare minimum. I found it to be long and wordy...but I am actually understanding it, slowly.

Module 3 for me is beginning to shape up to be similar to Godfather III. At first I hated both but now I realize their value. OK, in this here bookmarked link, author Vikram Vaswani turns PHP into something akin to a nice novella with excellent screenshots as examples. This tutorial is engaging, friendly and filled to the brim with info.

A really nice, basic resource that explains PHP in a clear and understandable way. It makes a very nice complement to the instructional videos for the class.

This is a MySQL tutorial that you can download to help you understand MySQL databases and php.

The following is a site complete with all sorts of tutorials for PHP and MySQL. It is separated by topics such as Setup, Admin, Syntax, Database, Connect, etc, and allows you to jump in where ever you feel the need to. I'm a newbie, so this site has been great to read through.

Throughout this course, I seem to always visit this page for different topics. I find it to be written in everyday language, even when explaining Javascript. I've looked over the site, and it "works" for me to help understand the language.

HTML Help was created by the Web Design Group, which was founded to "promote the creation of non-browser specific, non-resolution specific, creative and informative sites that are accessible to all users worldwide." If you check the site out, there is an HTML Validator, CSS Checker, Help Forums, and more! Style Guides, Image info, you name it!

This site has it all. I found it to be a very useful resource when trying to restyle my recipe. It has both, HTML and CSS information. Check it out when you can.

A quick and easy way to resize your images for the web.

A MySQL cheat sheet from the folks at Added Bytes. It isn't much for specific syntax, but it gives a broad overview. Explains different types of data used in setting up your database table. Also much date and time info, functions, and some sample select queries. Gives a feel for what's involved with the PHP/MySQL combination.

Has anyone successfully completed webprog-4-d? This video is my question about that assignment. Hopefully you know the answer!
