I'm still having trouble understanding javascript - so I'm shooting for partial credit with this sub mod. Again, bowing to Erica's benevolence. Many thanks.
This is as complex as this form is going to get. All that needs to be done to make it work is to enter your name and email address as values. Many thanks to Erica for helping me out.
Oh my gosh, it works. After two days of trying to figure out why perfectly good code wouldn't work, Dr. Halavais told me that I had to zap gremlins in my PHP text, because the text was imported.
Anyhow, I'm currently teaching my freshmen a book called A Long Way Gone, and since I need to find interactive ways to keep their interest buoyant, I thought this quiz might actually work in my own classroom.
Thanks to Jen Rock and Dr. Halavais for their help in getting this accomplished.
It WORKS!!! Finally!!! And I only had to spend about 8 hours on it. Hah! This is my random rolling die page, and many many MANY thanks to Jen Rock, Ellise Kuban, Dr. H and my friend Evan the Bard (moniker) for helping me out with the code.
Just goes to show that sometimes it takes a village!
I like this! Stopping a lecture in between to post my comments is definitely on the cool, geeky side of ICM :D
I may steal this idea for my classes, Dr. H!
This is my recipe for module 1-f. I'm not sure why the image doesn't show up in the browser, but it has an active link to the Flickr page the picture was found on.
What works:- crumb trail still exists, the infamous bulleted list still exists, and all course/ program information is still up there.
What doesn't work:- No pictures or logos.
