Here is a new 3-page site filled with some new info about me as well as some fun animations. I used a 2-column layout to keep my cartoon self and links list in place, have CSS working on my background images and added a new, snazzy, horizontal, unordered list menu. Hope you like it!

Knowing what a person does, reads or watches during their spare time can tell you a lot about them. Many of my friendships began during movie showings. If you look through my top three and don't see anything you like, that's fine - it just probably won't work out between us.

I used the QU page that I replicated from the first module. I added a menu bar in order to decrease the amount of scrolling for the user. This way when they go to the page they can click on the menu tab rather than scrolling all the way down the page to see the options. Having a menu bar is so much more effective for this webpage, each tab goes to the QU website for each topic.

I fixed a few of the gap issues. This is how it looks now.

I restyled my recipe for blueberry muffins, giving it a border, colorful headlines and some interest in the type style. I can't believe how difficult this all is!!

This site is very helpful for review. While I was able to complete the PHP assignments some of the concepts were a little hazy. This site is helpful if you would like further explanation. The author provides example code and breaks down each step in a way that is easy to understand. For instance. Here was one of the basic examples:\n\nLoops like these come in handy whenever you're working with long lists of things (such as jokes stored in a database... hint-hint!), but for now we'll illustrate with a trivial example: counting to ten.\n\n$count = 1;\nwhile ($count );\n $count++;\n}\n\nKind of scary-looking, I know, but let me talk you through it line by line.

The form on the bottom takes a name and comment and then inserts it into a mysql db table.

This is a message board on Live Programming Help for a person trying to create a Dice Simulator with images. It has sample code and troubleshooting help that may be of use for the Unit 3 Dice exercise.

Well, it's a good start, but you need to have it run the first 500 numbers, not up to 500 :). So, it's running about 480 short right now. As far as the code goes, just make use of a basic template, except for the PHP bit of it in the middle.

i am re-bookmarking this site and re-tagging it with the mod 2 tag, because i have adjusted things a bit in my FTP... organized things a bit. This is my rendering of the fibonacci sequence. I must admit that i had done this previously using javascript (when I was an undergrad, 4+yrs ago) and I would not let myself 'cheat' by researching other web sites. After sketching out the functionality and few tries I was able to get it, but I did have some difficulty with the formatting, for whatever reason, I could not get the '\n' to work, instead, i decided to echo a
tag.

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Unobtrusive Jquery for webprog-5-e. Nav bar is dimmed at 40 percent, and goes to 100 percent on hover. After hover, it returns to 40 percent. The whole div takes the effect. BTW, this is how I called my div in Jquery: $("#mydiv"). Took me almost 3 hours to find that out. :)

Oh my gosh, it works. After two days of trying to figure out why perfectly good code wouldn't work, Dr. Halavais told me that I had to zap gremlins in my PHP text, because the text was imported. Anyhow, I'm currently teaching my freshmen a book called A Long Way Gone, and since I need to find interactive ways to keep their interest buoyant, I thought this quiz might actually work in my own classroom. Thanks to Jen Rock and Dr. Halavais for their help in getting this accomplished.

Visualize the dice...I must say this challenge has given me the most grief since the class began. After about four days of trying and talking to classmates it has finally become a reality. This page has two die, that roll randomly. The Die are courtesy of Jen Rock and her excellent photoshop skills. Thanks to her and her refusal to do another challenge, this assignment has been completed.

I added a comment to the viddler timeline. This comment is useful in terms of validation. When you go to validate your pages and you have included "POST" the page does not validate. For validation purposes you must enter it as "post".

This is my quiz, it is a five question quiz on the Televsion show Heroes. If I was at work I would totally take this quiz, considering that I am obsessed with this show. Both pages validate, the quiz page and the results page.

That errant apostrophe makes me want to explode things with my mind ;).

This page helps one select a favorite sport. After selecting a sport, it automatically populates the drop-down box with sports teams.
