This is fine for the assignment, but note that it will not validate (I assume). Take a look at that second <ul>. You've got an un-nested <p> tag there--it starts before the <ul> and ends before the </ul>. Actually, that <p> is extraneous, so you can just delete it...

A staple of the raw food diet. Looks green, tastes good!

So, great page. But :)... Tables for layout is bad news. There's no way to predict how it will be viewed on some devices, and it makes it harder (in some cases) to be spooned into a CMS. So, fine for now, but lose the <table> habit for anything other than tables as we move forward. (In this case, floating the image to the left would accomplish the same effect, but provide a liquid layout...)

    this is my three-page website

Nice work here. Some people might look at this code like it has 3 heads--because it does! Each html document should have only 1 head section. But it renders great, and that's all we need for this challenge.

    Here is my syllabus question.
  •
In case I haven't answered elsewhere. You can do as many of the challenges as you like. Take a look over the syllabus for information as to how completion is related to grades. And yes, in response to the first time around, I've provided a longer deadline, for more flexibility. Generally, the work is due within one week after the module is scheduled. And yes, I use Diigo to find everything you've done--so if you want me to see it, make sure you bookmark it and let me know what you want it to count for (e.g., webprog-1-b, like this one).

Breakthrough Magnet School-contact - 0 views

(I guess I didn't bookmark this properly the first time). I did this very basic form for school website that I may be redoing (its in the very early stages). However, the graphic I created is not showing up on firefox, only on Safari. I've tried everything that I know and still nothing shows up. The form, however, works.

Close, but I can get away with the email ASDF, which seems an unlikely email address.

Oh, and on the image--Firefox doesn't think it is a proper PNG. What program did you use to create the image?

Fibonacci Code! Its like the DaVinci Code... But without a movie or book - 0 views

    My Fibonacci code

Dude! And after we talked about that common error, too! But as with the others, I'll count it as "close enough for gov. work." Note to everyone: the Fibonacci series *starts* 0 1 1 2 3 5 ... Less than half of yours do :/.

ESP-Test - 0 views

This is my rendition of the ESP cards with random card generation. This one had taken me a while because I wasn't quite getting the concept of how the url were being passed. After re-watching the videos, I was able to grasp the concept better. I had originally thought that i could have the php function on a switch and then have a hidden input variable passed to the url...turn out i was over-thinking it....rather than give away the answer, just see for yourself!

SQL Data Types - 0 views

  •
When setting up my database, I have been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out which data types to use for each item. I began by checking the MySQL homepage, but in the end I found myself getting more and more confused - they seemed to get tooo wordy and involved in the definition of the data type. I found this site to be much more helpful in describing the different data types - it gets right to the point and clearly explains with examples, what each data type does.

Let's roll the dice! - 0 views

  •
After way too long of attempting to figure out how to make this page, the light bulb finally lit up (dim, but it turned on). Instead of just numbers rotating randomly, I incorporated images of dice. I also implemented CSS stylesheet for the background and text. Also, instead of a using the brower refresh button, I added my own :-)
