I piloted this activity in my EFL class. My 12 and 13 year old students just loved it. Once I started bringing these kind of crosswords to the class my students keep asking me for more activities of the same type. enjoy:-)

Here is a matching (pictures with words) game which will help your students practice vocabulary. I actually tried it myself and it is a lot of fun.

This is the handout of fruits presented just after this post. It contains the picture of fruits presented in the flashcard. Under each picture the name of the fruit is written. Kids can also read and learn the names of the fruits.

This flashcards are useful for teaching. I myself (including my peers) had some difficulties in finding them during our practicum and fortunately I could find the link and I am happy to share it with you.

I used this material when I was teaching in a college. I would like to say that kids adored it. They colored the parts of apple, cut, and make an apple. Through this activity children were having fun and at the same time learned the letter with great ease. Try it and enjoy!

This audio book is a good sample for developing both listening and reading skills. The book also includes pictures which in its case make the story interesting and attractive. IT also can be printed. The text is not so simple so, the students should have good English skills in order to understand the content of the text.

For beginner students this is a great game. My students played it with joy.

One can practice the present simple vs. the present continuous tenses by playing this snakes and ladders fun game. Keep playing until you win. Answer questions correctly to have a chance at rolling the dice.It is really fun!!!!

Here you can find reading comprehension worksheets for 2nd Grade students in pdf formats. They are funny and easy to work with. If your student doesn't like to read long texts, as mine, then they are exactly what you need. At the end of every text, there are questions to check your student's reading comprehension. It worked pretty well with my student.

With the help of this link you can at the same time listen, read and see the story.It is very useful especially for visual learners.

This video quiz about the film "Avatar" will help you to practise your English listening skills and build your vocabulary. You can use these kinds of activities to prepare your students for PBT or IELTS exams. I tried with some advanced students and they liked it.

A game to practice food vocabulary (fruit, vegetables, drinks, meat, desserts...). Students should find foods indicated by chief's list on the side by click on them in a kitchen. I piloted this game with a 12 years-old neighbor of mine, who studies English at elementary level. He was pretty much engaged in the game. Though the food list at side is restricted, foods in the kitchen are not. This makes students to look around to find the food indicated rather than simply choose from a limited set of choices. As there are other food items as well, it also provides an opportunity to teach new food vocab. When the list is done for the 1st time, playing the game again allows to practice new items and a new list is provided. It's definitely more interactive than usual paper-based activities. In case of using it in a class, the teacher can also add some speaking tasks for group work.

Oh Addeh jan I liked the game which was about "preposition of place". reaaly it was very interesting and easy to remember the places of the objects playing this game.

A good activity to test the learners' awareness of the tenses.

I piloted this game with my EEC students after we learned some new vocabulary concerning food subject. The learners were very fond of the activity as it was both visual and involved technological interference.
