The PDF file includes a great range of various exercises. This activity is very useful as students learn to read and write while they are listening. Students need to read through the questions in the exercises in the practice materials before listening to the podcast. While they're scanning the text they will get an idea about what they are going to listen to. They have to read the instructions of each exercise carefully, as sometimes they must listen for the 'right' answers. But in some of these questions, they must choose the one answer that is not possible or wrong. These exercises are also appropriate for those who intend to take IELTS or iBT exams later. My students did this activity; they liked it and didn't get bored (the variety of the exercises made them busy and concentrated). These exercises are good for developing students' listening, reading, and writing skills. In addition to these skills, it also develops students' vocabulary. While listening and watching the songs or a video poem, the students will have opportunity to write down the missing words in a given space and later on check the answers. I used this type of exercises with my students and to tell the truth they liked them very much. This type of exercises can be used at the end of the lesson or in the middle of it, when teacher notice some boredom during the lesson. They play as a good refresh. After listening the song, the teacher may discuss it with students (as I did) or even translate. There are also some words at the end of each song and students may learn them as well.

Simple exercise using the past simple. Students should make sentences using the given words.

It is a wonderful site with at least 6 differnt exercises. The exercises are connected with listening for specific purposes, listening for vocabulary, gap filling, grammer (have has + V3), etc. Listening also containes of songs though wich the learners may inprove their listening skills.

In general I have found the BBC Words In the News site to be very good. Here is a video exercise I found. It's probably best for int. to upper int. students. The Video includes and a PDF of the script can be downloaded separately if you wish. and there is an exercise included to reinforce the new grammar.

there are a lot of exercises which enhance reading as well as accelerates writing. I gave this activity to my students and they did it with pleasure, especially those who have pets, particularly dogs in their families. Appropriate to be assigned as classwork and as homework.

This is a nice game, where ur kid is supposed to match the given words with the pics of clothes. I tried it on my sister and saw that she liked the game, as it was colorful. Besides she likes mathcing exercises very much. Ur kid can easily memorize the names of teh clothes with teh help of this exercise.

This link contains three downloadable podcasts. Each podcast include transcripts, worksheets with their answers, diverse vocabulary tasks and also web quests. All the exercises are based mainly in the podcasts' vocabulary and information.

Thank you Armine. I have used these podcasts with my student. She enjoyed them very much because she was able to listen to native speakers and also do some grammatical exercises we have passed. These podcasts are also good for practicing scanning and skimming. So those who want to develop these skills they can use these podcasts. Tully speaking, after these podcast my student has become more attentive to the details and has begun to pay much attention to the detail and gist of the information.

This is a listening exercise which aims to assist learners' intonation and stress. For this song, upper intermediate students should listen and fill in the blanks with no help or discussion. They should then check what they have written with classmates. Once the lyrics are completed, students should be encoureged to sing along with the song, in order to practise the stress and intonation. I practised it with my student when having tutoring and it helped greatly.
