this is a fun activity for beginners to practice body parts and animals. I'm thinking of trying it with my students since we are now learning body parts and animals.
This educational game aims to teach body parts and their activity. Ss learn about different parts of the body through interactive animation, quiz and puzzle games. I have tried this with my brother and found out that the process should be guided.
A very useful game for ESL /EFL Kids. This site has various topic based word games, exercises, quizzes and printable worksheets. This one is to practice body parts.
A link which integrates an audio and pictures of 'Body Parts' - both aiming to help elementary level students acquire and practice the target vocabulary.
A fun game to develop parts of speech. It asks you to write many words then comes up with a funny story. When you have trouble remembering it even has an information page to help the player. Best for players who have sufficient grammar knowledge (11 and up)
It will be interesting and fun for children to make a face and learn its parts simultaneously. I have tried this game with my sister and she enjoyed it a lot. She learnt the parts of the face but she didn't want to stop playing.
This is an engaging game for beginner level learners who want to practice the vocabulary of the parts of the face (hair, eyes, ears, nose, teeth, lips...). This game involves reading and recognizing these items in order to make a face. My sister is an intermediate level student, however she liked it for practicing the vocabulary.
Try the New "Make a Face" Song Along with the increase in International Understanding Education in Japan, there is also a strong desire to preserve traditional Japanese activities. It's for this reason that in the New Year you'll probably find Japanese schools teaching lots of traditional games.
A simple game that takes kids from a consumer's role to more of a producer's role by changing parts in a movie. Might be challenging for kids with lower proficiency.
I used this audio/video file during my practicum to teach 5 to 7 years old 10 little kids from AUA EEC courses and it succeeded. It was an entertaining way of teaching. The kids were motivated because they could hear and watch a colorful video clip. As in this audio/video file kids were singing and dancing by pointing out their parts of the body. Watching this motivated the kids and they started to imitate them. After playing the audio and video file several times they learned it by heart.
This is a good source for using a simple story to motivate pre-school and first beginning students to learn English. It's easy to choose pictures and creates a story even for a 5 year old kid. My 5 years old daughter got encouraged when recognized that she made it by herself. If it's being used often children would be able to recognize words as a whole; without having the ability of reading the individual letters.
Oh Armine jan it was a very interesting game. I played it twice. It really helps the students to promote their reading skills, as well as their creativity. And the most intersting part was the last part when I was reading the story about me. I liked it very much...:)
This material is for beginner level kids. Kids can color the alligator both online and on paper. After coloring they can cut the parts and stick together. It's a creative material and may interest kids very much
This material will be appropriate to use with kids because it can increase kids' creativity. From the language point, it is also very useful material as we can teach the letter a as it begins with and also body parts (hands, legs, tail, head, and so forth). It is very interactive material and can be used not only by teachers but also by moms who have little kids. Yesterday, I printed out this alligator and used for our neighbor's kid, who was very naughty and didn't interested in anything. Due to this material I was able to keep her quite and also teach some English words and also two-three colors which we used to color the alligator.
This is a nice game for elementary level students through which they can learn the names of animals! The best thing about this game is that it has four sections:
1-shows the animal and pronounces the name along wit providing the written variant
2- it checks spelling VS. pronunciation
3-it checks pronunciation VS. picture
4- it checks spelling VS. picture.
I tried it with elementary level students (two) and it was quite effective!!!!
Thanks Gayane for this game. I tried this game with my cousin who is 5 years old and only knows 10 letters of the English alphabet. We played this game together and he pretty liked it. He only knew the name of some of the animals but he doesnt recognise the written form of letters. therfore, I skipped the writing parts. I perticularly liked the part which he should listen to the names and then point me the animal to put the name under it. By the way, I used this game just to entertain him not to teach him. It think this approach helped him to just enjoy it as a game not a lesson.
Thanks again.
This is an animated lesson on human body parts and their functions. Learning about the human body becomes easier with this interactive lesson for kids.
