Pandora Radio has got to be my all time favorite technology breakthrough. After clearing my search history several months ago, I could no longer access my Pandora Radio account. After four years of "thumbs up" and "thumbs down", I was devastated that I couldn't get to my personalized radio stations. I contacted customer service and the tech support guy was able to figure out that on my initial set up there was a typo in my email address. I was over joyed when I saw my favorite personalized radio stations glaring back at me.

I thank God for Pandora every day, I'd never make it through a single day at work without it. I love how it personalizes my musical tastes based on the "thumbs up" "thumbs down" I give the songs. My only quarrel is that I can't just look up a song and listen to it right then. :D

I listen to Pandora frequently! I especially love it around the Holidays!

Salesforce - Best CRM cloud software - 0 views

Salesforce.com is the primary tool for my business. I can use it to access my client data from any place (or phone), so long as I have a signal or internet. I can also host a local version of my database as a back up, in case I'm without internet access. It is the single most important tool in my business.

Literature and Latte - Scrivener - 0 views

This is a great program for writers of every kind, including those of us who need to write essays for school. From the home page: "Scrivener is a powerful content-generation tool for writers that allows you to concentrate on composing and structuring long and difficult documents. While it gives you complete control of the formatting, its focus is on helping you get to the end of that awkward first draft."

Wolfram|Alpha: Computational Knowledge Engine - 0 views

Wolframl Alpha does some thinking for you. For example, ask it to compare socioeconomic data sets, provide answers to complex mathematical questions, and look up facts about almost as many subjects as you can think of right in one place. Check out the iPhone app; it's like carrying around an encyclopedia that thinks!

Here, Wikipedia summarizes Moore's Law, which describes scientific trends in technological advances. Scroll down to the highlighted sub-chapter of the page, and you can review projected challenges to faster technology.   In the end, we cannot stop the evolution of technology, as it races circles around current systems in twos.  Every couple of years, we need to upgrade, otherwise, consider being left behind in obsolescence (scroll down to the next highlight for a definition).

I've used this website to track down information on a source. Depending on how many specifics you already know, you can find lots of background on a person for free. For instance- I used it to track down the name of my boss before he had it legally changed when he was 23. He's now in his 40's so the old name was long gone.

I forgot about this database and am so grateful to be reintroduced to it. I've got a garden patched with areas that grow weeds but nothing else. I've been looking for more information about which native species to Wash. state would thrive in my garden. The sources I find online are too generic. Thanks for sharing this information! Joy
