USDA website cataloging over 10,000 plant species. It has data on growth habits, wetland indicator status, native/nonnative status, rare or endangered species status and more.
I forgot about this database and am so grateful to be reintroduced to it. I've got a garden patched with areas that grow weeds but nothing else. I've been looking for more information about which native species to Wash. state would thrive in my garden. The sources I find online are too generic.
Thanks for sharing this information!
