This curriculum is designed to give teachers a comprehensive set of tools to educate students about copyright while incorporating activities that exercise a variety of learning skills. I will use this in my computer classes when I'm teaching about copyright.

This site has a plethora of resources. I would not send this out to staff. Instead I would use this as a resource for me to dig through some great OER sites and then share the best ones for middle school teachers and students. Because the look of this list is not very appealing, I think it would turn many people away. We have many students and teachers looking for audiobooks. This is a great resource. Once again there are tons of math options. I find many math teachers thinking that math is different and that it's harder to incorporate technology into their curriculum. Usually when I show a math teacher just a few options, their eyes open. The list of resources here is awesome. Open.edu is a great resource to help teachers expand their knowledge. I could probably bookmark that resource separately.

That is the trick with sites that have sooo many resources; teachers tend to get overwhelmed and then don't look at any of them! I also try to sort through resources and send them specific sites or links that are focused on what area(s) they have been asking about. I will also be sorting through this site to find some great resources to share!

I will use this resource with my Rti technology class. We are dabbling in many computer science topics and this is a great source that explains the basics of the internet and how it all works.

I chose this lesson/activity because the 3rd grade creates biography presentations and since we are now a K-8 school this would be a great idea to get different age groups to work together.

I'm going to be sure to pass this along because I can see this fitting right in with our new reading/writing curriculum.

I love this quick simple idea to get students intrigued and engaged in a lesson. We have had a huge focus on our new literacy and writing curriculum this year and I can see my upper elementary and middle school teachers using this in conjunction with their science and social studies lessons.

I think this would be a fun alternative to the traditional book report. Students are introduced to the five story elements in Session One. In Session Two students use Comic Creator Student Interactive to create a six-frame comic strip to map story elements from a story they have read.

I used this with the 4th grade class last year and they LOVED it!

We have Khan Academy as an app on all of our 1-to-1 students' iPads.

What is Pressure? Very interesting simulation for students.

Great resource for students needing extra support and supplemental materials. Will be shared with English teachers as the videos and outlines for essay writing are quite helpful.

"Explore collections from around the world" by using Google Arts & Culture. LOTS here, but I capture this for the 10th grade students doing research on Martin Luther King, Jr. A simple search of Martin Luther King, Jr brings up over 400 historical pictures, letters and telegrams as well as audio of MLK's speeches thus providing primary resources for students to delve deeply into history.

Great resource to share with teachers before summer starts. There are many free courses to take on a variety of subjects. It seems like all teachers at our school could benefit from something on here.

I think I would start here instead of Khan Academy because this resource includes Khan Academy along with 7 other collections that focus on math.

This lesson would be so interesting to incorporate with the second grade. Right now they just do reports.

I was looking for ideas to add to our immigration unit. This was full of ideas! I found 7 different lesson plans that contained videos, text, hands on research/analyzing/presenting activities complete with rubrics! The one I found most interesting was looking more at current immigration issues, and with countries bordering the US.

While looking at A Great List of OER Resources, I found G4C. I thought I'd see if there were any online games students could play to add to the immigration unit. Not only did I find a great one on iCivics called Liberty Belle's Nation, it also linked me to lesson plans with learning objectives, readings, a variety of activities to access comprehension, Scholastic Teacher links to interactive tour guides of Ellis Island, virtual field trip links, graphs with data, and (Scholastic) lesson plans on this topic, leading from the past to present.
