This could be used by science teachers in the building for our honors and ap biology classes. There are labs that our teachers could build off of and teachers could show the students what a college syllabus looks like. I feel like this could be a great conversation about high school expectations and what's next to come.

Khan Academy would be a great resource for teachers and administrators looking for help with RTI needs. There are sections for every content area where students can test their skills via an online assessment. After several questions, content is adjusted to the specific learning level of the individual student.

I loved exploring HippoCampus. The educational video, test prep, and simulations were amazing. I am exploring the topic English, specifically "Crafting an Effective Writer" and have found this video on being a successful online learner. The videos are informative and I could see my English teacher using them and it even applies to this course right now.

The Khan Academy has wonderful resources on many topics. The online tutorials are great visual examples of solving various math problems that teachers can utilize in the regular classroom, flipped classroom, tutoring students or online courses. I would also coordinate with the teacher and link these resources to my library websites for students and parents to access. This lesson would be so interesting to incorporate with the second grade. Right now they just do reports.

I think I would start here instead of Khan Academy because this resource includes Khan Academy along with 7 other collections that focus on math.

Great resource for students needing extra support and supplemental materials. Will be shared with English teachers as the videos and outlines for essay writing are quite helpful.

Nature Publishing Group, publishers of the highly regarded Nature magazine, decided in 2009 to make a sustained effort to overcome questions about the reliability of free materials found on the Internet in life and physical science disciplines. I can see the science department using this site in the classes they are building in Haiku. We have some teachers who are creating blended learning classes and the resources on this page will be helpful. JD
