This site is designed to be a resource for parents who have decided to home school their children. The site offers a lot of information and resources for home schooling including: newsletters, discussion forums, curriculum resources, workshops, and scholarship information.

This is a very safe website for students to look up information. It is very basic and very limited but the facts are accurate. It's a great place for Elementary to go to if they are doing a fact chart or basic report on an animal, country, or dinosaur. Its a neat website but little annoying because when ever you go back to home page you get the welcome announcement and I couldn't find anywhere to turn it off, accept for mute on my volume

One of Dr. Topp's suggested sites, NEWTON gives children the opportunity to connect with real scientists from around the world. If a child is having difficulty finding the answer to a question using traditional methods, he or she can search the archives on this site or ask the question. Depending on its content, a scientist may answer the question.

This is a internet safety site that uncovers 6 simple and basic rules for kids to know while using the internet. They reveal these 6 safety rules are revealed through an interactive game. It is geared for primary grades K-3.

You can find relevant lesson plans for instruction to students of various ages here. There is information on protecting yourself and your computer, as well as videos to show to students.

The website is very organized, it is easy to navigate, has a tone of information, and the concept is explained very well.

Although this is aimed at slightly younger kids, there are many topics to explore (mostly Social Studies) and it is highly interactive.

This is a site from the student sites list. I didn't find much that would be used by students though. It is a good resource for economics teachers with links to Nebraska standards and sample lesson plans.
