PE Central's Kids Quiz is a fun and educational daily quiz designed to have students learn about physical activity, health, and nutrition. I liked this because it makes the kids learn the information because there is a quiz. I can refer to this when I am in a health or P.E. class. It does say most kids will have to guess the answers, but thats a god way to start a lesson to gets the information out there.

Classroom layout and design - 1 views

  •
again, this website lists and shows images of different things teachers have done in their classroom. It would benefit any teacher to scroll through the images of the different things that can be done in a classroom and use those ideas. having an inviting classroom is important and they have very cute ideas for bulletin boards to the layout. It would greatly help any teacher come up with creative things to do to their classroom.

Popular Art Activities for Math Class, Grades K-12 - TeacherVision.com - 1 views

  •
I personally have never liked math and with this website i found it has art activites for a math lesson. It incorporates both the left and right brain thinking. Math is sometimes a struggle to teach and to get the students to like so the activities that is talks about such as "designing a quilt pattern" or math and recipes adds a fun edgy side to math that would get the students to have fun with math and they dont even realize it.

Physical Education Games For Elementary Children | LIVESTRONG.COM - 2 views

This is a Physical Education/Health site. I chose this site for the reason being, that it has some important information regarding children's health and well being. It says that P.E. helps develop motor skills, body awareness, social interation, and cognitive development. Although this site is a little bare in details. It does give some important facts about health and it does have 4 games designed to be played in P.E. class.

Before a teacher goes into the first day of school, it's beneficial to have a layout plan. I chose this site because it implements a classroom floor plan. This allows you to be the architect of your classroom, i.e., objects can be dragged across the grid.

This interactive website could be very useful in very many different situations in the classroom. There are many different topics like The Civil War, Immigration, Continents, and so many more things. Students can use this website when they are learning about any of the following topics. There are games and also informational readings to go with them.
  •
This is similar to the math site I posted except it is for social studies. Again, the students pick which area they need/want to practice and they can click that area to play games pertaining to that section. I click on the states/capitals. If you click on the states, it says the capital, the flag, the motto, etc. This would be a great site if you want students to do research on different states and then design the flag for that state. It could be used for anything. Amber Koth

Language Arts: I think this website would be very helpful in my future classroom- especially if my school district uses McGraw-Hill books. This website contains both teacher resources along with student activities to be used in the classroom. There are worksheets and games designed specifically for the different aspects of language arts. Areas such as grammar, writing, prepositions, nouns, punctuations, etc are all included and provide easy to follow steps to help improve student learning.

Health: This would be a very useful website to use as an educator. There are suggestions on how to design your health curriculum, ways to assess students, and strategies to enhance instruction. I would use this website because there is a lot I don't know about health and this would be a great place to get lesson ideas.
