I chose this resource because it includes units, lesson plans, games, webquests, and a dbquest which gives the students practice with difficult questions. I would use this in my classroom because games are interactive in which students learn by playing and there are multiple resources to help guide with questions to make them think critically.

This website offers interactive games to enhance math skills. Again, this website would be great to strengthen math skills for some of my students that need the help. I think this would really motivate my students, especially some of the boys because there were a lot of games that would piqué their interest (basketball, racing, skiing, etc).

I chose this website because it gave many good activities that will help with literacy development. I will keep some of these activities in mind to use in my future classroom.

This Blog is made by a teacher and she has many posts that are links to multiple sties related to new educational practices and activities to do in the classroom. The links can be a great way to keep up with new strategies and stay informed on educational practices.

This website explains the importance of science and several learning strategies that teachers use to teach it affectingly. These strategies will be beneficial to me in my classroom to teach these science concepts the best I can.

I chose this website because it goes into detail about phonemic awareness and how it is becoming more important for students to understand these concepts. Phonemic awareness and decoding are both things that I will teach in my classroom.

Taking the sixth activity, I can have students interview a mathematical historical figure: research and ask a couple simple questions.

This website gives many different social studies activities you can do with students. I can incorporate theses activities into my classroom to make social studies topics a little more interesting.

I choose this site because it has free lesson plans for teachers that includes Art and Crafts, Health and Nutrition, Math, Music, Physical Education, Printable Worksheets, Reading, Science, Social Studies, Technology, and Writing. This site can be used in my future classroom by using each subjects lesson plan that is available as a sample of what I want mine to be like.

Splash math is a website that allows parents to access math games and practice for their children. It also can be used by teachers to give assessments and lessons for students.

This website has posters, games, rubrics, and more for teachers to use in a classroom. It is a great way for general education teachers to find sources that can incorporate art into the classroom.

I chose this website because it gives resources for books you might use in your classroom and helps the teacher find books in the student's reading level. It is easy to navigate too; the teacher can choose the grade level, subject, and what reading level system you want to use.

Book wizard is another part of scholastic. It allows teachers to search by reading level, to find appropriate books for students.

I chose this resource because it offers project ideas, discussion guides, book fairs, book clubs, as well as a teacher store. I would use this resource as a place to get materials that I need for in my classroom as well as a resource for books for students and myself.

Lesson Plans/Teacher Sharing: I chose this website because it is free and easily accessible; I liked the visuals it included and that they included books that could be used to help teach the lesson. I could use this in my future to find lessons with books I want to read or to find a book for a certain type of lesson.

Scholastic has free access to lesson and unit plans for teachers. You can put in the grade level and the subject and it will give you access to lots of lesson plan options.

This website includes science activities and experiments you can do with your students. Science is not one of my strongest areas so having the resources to find activities and lessons will be very helpful in my classroom.

This website is full of hyperlinks for resources like classroom management, lesson plans, teaching tips, technology, games, and frequently asked questions. I will definitely go back to this site to find lessons, games, and to build my knowledge on how to teach PE effectively.

I chose this app because it seemed like a good way to get kids to enjoy math. I will use this in the classroom by assigning this for either free time math or for homework.

This article gives information on how to manage a PE class well. I will use these strategies in my future classes like starting with an instant activity to get the students moving right away.

This website is ideal for finding new lessons and activities to do with students. I also like how there are two separate links for teachers and kids in order for everyone in the classroom to benefit. The lessons and activities found on the website are extra help for teachers to make new activities to keep students interested in material. It is always helpful as a teacher to have extra help with creating lessons and experiments.

I chose this as a great resource for teachers to provide for students for extra help if the students need help on homework or the teacher can print out extra worksheets for students who do not understand what is being taught. I would use this in my classroom because it includes almost all math concepts that will be taught in all grades. For each concept, it includes a video, worksheet, and a textbook exercise.
