After being instructed, students loved to be tested--not necessarily a summative assessment. I picked this site because it presents some interesting educational games. This would be helpful for teachers because it provides short games/quizzes, which serve as fun evaluators for understanding concepts.

This website has many games that students can use to improve on basic skills. This site also has sections that are designated for preschoolers, parents and teachers, and crafts. This is cool site that has a lot of games over different subjects. The games are created by teachers to help students learn the subject. The levels range from pre-k to 6th grade. it could be useful for teachers to have the students play around a learn while they are doing it.

This site offers a variety of game broken down by subject, grade, language, and genre. This is a great tool that I could use in the classroom for different areas but just using one site and I can get great ideas for lessons for the activity work and group work.

I picked this site because I remember using it in elementary school and middle school, and remember how much it helped me with math. This site has many different math games for students to use. This site also has a teacher page as well as a parent's page. I can use this in my future class because it is a different way to learn math. Students can play games that can help them add or subtract, if they are having problems with it. I would also use this site since it has different ways to motivate students when it comes to math.

I have mentioned this site before and I will mention it again. I think Cool Math is an awesome resource. It has typical math games you'd expect, such as simple addition and subtraction activities. However, it also has games that incorporate other skills as well. Some of these games really, really play on your critical thinking skills. Students can learn business strategies, complex math strategies, understand dimensions and time, and even math terms. Even as a person that totally hates math, I appreciate this website very much. I remember loving it when I was in K-12.

Education Games: I chose this resource because I remember playing it as a kids, and I do think many of the games help with problem solving and critical thinking. This is another website I could allow my students to get for a brain break or once they complete their work.

PBS Kids is such a fun website. It's filled with TV show themed games that incorporate the type of subject of social studies. These games will have students hooked.

Social studies - I chose this source because it has so many games to choose from that teach you about social studies and it can be used for any age

Music - This source allows students to use their creative side again by creating their own music and playing other games that relate to music and instruments, this site also has games for all grades

This website is awesome, especially for teaching the states and capitals. There are so many fun games for students to play, so they won't get bored with the traditional rehearsal of flashcards.

This website offers hundreds of PE lessons and is updated regularly. It offers assessments, adaptations, gaming, and many other things. It would be a cool site if I was a physical education major.

PE Central is a web site that provides information about developmentatally appropriate physical education practices and programs. Great for all ages and grade levels.

I choose this site because it gives you ideas of how to assess a gym class This site can be used in my future classroom by knowing what my students get to do in gym class to release most energy.

This is a Social Studies site. I chose this one due to its creativity. This game that I am bookmarking is an activity for the students to match up the presidents with his vice president. It is very accessible, they have instructions for you at the beginning and then you are off to matching up the president to their vice president. It tells you which ones you get right and wrong. The only problem I have with it is, it doesnt give any clues so I had a hard time because it has been along time since I learned about the presidents.

All kids love the chance to get on the computer but it is important that we give them games to play that they will also learn from. This website has over 100 games for each grade level that kids will love and not think of it as doing math. there is a wide variety of choices and is a great place to send kids to.

This site not only includes written-up advice, but it includes video examples. I chose this site because it gave thorough explanations over interactive games/assessments. P.E. teachers can use this as a honey-hole for ideas to implement in the classroom--wherever it may be.
