    Excellent free units made available from Odell Education. Units on Close Reading and making evidence based claims for grade 6-12 are available here. All materials are included including the texts. Each unit is designed to be 3 weeks long. The materials and models here are very well aligned to Common Core standards and could serve as excellent models for teachers adapting to teaching the new standards.

      Regarding Relevance, I would probably add a check to decide if the app is grade-appropriate and that it will support student growth toward mastery of curricular standards, lesson objectives, etc.
