This website is very beneficial to educators. It provides some of the latest articles (like the articles we have been reading for assignments) for free! Stay in touch with professional opinions and "how to's" during the school year and summer. This website also gives educators a place to blog and communicate with one another. I'm posting this website because with all the articles I have been reading for class, it seems like our school system is failing and many people are unaware of the changes. (or lack there of) I want to keep myself updated on the latest information!

SABES - System for Adult Basic Education - 0 views

  •
SABES promotes high quality adult basic education services through training, support, and resources that improve the skills and knowledge of practitioners and strengthen programs. I'm posting this website because we have talked about what makes a "good teacher". This website has great articles (you could use for referenes) and Adult education on many subjects. Most of the training is "basic", however there are some teachers in the district who can't respond to email because they are not computer savvy. This website provides basic information on how to use the computer and other "basic needs"

The NASA Kids Club website contains excellent video and other resources to connect to Science lessons. http:__www.nasa.gov_audience_forkids_kidsclub_flash_index.html Also, this link for Educators is great. http://www.nasa.gov/audience/foreducators/index.html You can find links to teaching resources, NASA TV, and others information. I also joined the NASA Educators Online Network and I get emails from them about webcasts, and chat sessions as well as other events. I had a class come in the library last year and chat with an astronaut about what we were learning.

It provides all sorts of interesting facts on the different states, and also helped my wife and I find a Dental School for her to apply to near our house. State information resource links to state homepage, symbols, flags, maps, constitutions, representitives, songs, birds, flowers, trees
