This website is a program that is used nationally. (Even in Atlanta Ga) The program brings in professionals to discuss bullying, help children learn community safety and some self-defense classes. The website keeps the public updated on leading causes faced by children in this age and time. I'm posting this site because in our reading we have been discussing problems children face every day, and how to prevent these problems. I saw many of my classmates discussion bullying and some eating disorder. This website provides prevention activities you could also use in the classroom!

Teachers in Muscogee County, at CSU, and employees at the Coca Cola Space Science Center as well as some others have created some incredible vodcasts that can be used in the classroom. They are already connected to the standards and are checked for accuracy of content. Teachers receive training with Tony Vincent on podcasts and student learning.
