This template can simply be turned into from a daily template to a weekly template. I love the cutesiness of it for an elementary school teacher. It is organized with the spelling words of the week and times that each subject begins and ends.

A dog is divided into 3 parts, front, middle, and back. Students have to place the picture on the correct section of the dog depending on where the letter being worked on occurs in the corresponding word to the picture. This activity could be used for standard 1.RF.3.4. Modifications to the activity would have to be made so that one syllable words were being used instead of words containing multiple syllables. Students could complete this activity during center/free time.
