Learning Never Stops: Vintage Ad Browser - Over 100,000 ads and posters from the 1700's... - 0 views

"Looking at vintage ads is a good way to learn about a particular era and to compare eras as well. History teachers will be glad to hear that the website has a large selection of propaganda posters from the 1800's up to the 2000's but note that most of the posters after the 1940's are from Communist China. If you teach social studies then do yourself a favor by checking out the Vintage Ad Browser."

iPad Apps for Learners with Dyslexia - 0 views

  •
"Many iPad apps are available to support learners with reading and writing difficulties. This 'Wheel of Apps' is not comprehensive, but attempts to identify relevant apps and to categorise them according to some of the difficulties faced by people with dyslexia. It was originally published as an A3 poster, but works equally well as an A4 leaflet. Links on the electronic version are 'clickable, taking you information about the individual app on the iTunes site for the UK."
