This paper, "Frameworks for Response to Intervention in Early Childhood: Description and Implications," has been jointly developed by the Division for Early Childhood of the Council for Exceptional Children, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and the National Head Start Association. The purpose of the joint paper is to define early childhood response-to-intervention frameworks and to promote a broader understanding and discussion of the topic.

The framework of Developmental Assets is grounded in extensive research on what kids need to succeed. Since 1989, Search Institute has been studying the assets in the lives of young people. Ohio School Leaders - Building Decision Frameworks

The Rochester Instructional Framework is a professional development tool designed to support effective teaching and learning. It is characterized by its workshop format which is research and standards-based, and used as a guide as educators plan and implement their instructional programs.

Despite years of investigation and reporting on the disproportionate representation of culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) students in office discipline referrals and special education, little progress has been made in reducing these disparities. It is recommended that school personnel identify cultural inconsistencies in disciplinary practices, and develop and maintain culturally responsive practices that facilitate improvements in student behavior. The Double-Check framework promotes such practices through self-assessment, and encourages school personnel to recognize their own attitudes and behaviors toward CLD students.
