A dispatcher heard what sounded like someone skiing during a 911 call around 6 p.m. Upon calling the number back a woman said the phone was in her pocket and there was no emergency. A mistakenly closed flue caused a home to fill up with smoke when a resident started a fire in the fireplace around 6:30 p.m. Suspicious people taking photos in a neighborhood near Macgregor Road around 9:30 p.m. turned out to be photography students shooting night photos.
